Meet Dr. Jillian Banbury ...
Dr. Jillian Banbury is originally from Canada and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Toronto. She then obtained her M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Florida. Dr. Banbury completed her general surgery training at The New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center in New York City. She then moved to Cleveland Ohio and completed a fellowship in Microsurgery and training Plastic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After her training Dr. Banbury was recruited to stay on the staff in the Department of Plastic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic where she was Director of the Breast and Aesthetic Fellowship program. She has had an active practice specializing in breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Banbury moved to Delaware with her husband who was recruited from The Cleveland Clinic to be Chief of Cardiac Surgery for the Christiana Care Health System. Dr. Banbury is board certified in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. The Banburys have two sons age 10 and 12 and live in the Wilmington area.
