| Breast Augmentation / Mammaplasty |

Breast augmentation, or augmentation mammaplasty, is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breast. This commonly performed procedure must be carefully tailored to each woman, to match both the woman's preference for size and shape, as well as the stature and size of the patient.
During your initial consultation, we will evaluate your health and determine which surgical techniques are most appropriate for you. If your breasts are sagging, we may also discuss a breast lift.
During the procedure, an implant is inserted through an incision made under the crease under the breast, around the areola (dark tissue around the nipple), or through the armpit. The implant may be placed under the breast tissue or beneath the chest wall muscle. We take special care to assure that the incision scar will be as subtle and unnoticeable as possible.
